Israeli Hebrew Institute
Terms of Use
Last updated 16 September 2026
These are the terms for using the Israeli Hebrew Institute app and course. Short version: it is a course taught by people, you own your recordings, we own the lessons, and either side can end it.
The service
A daily task from Sunday to Thursday, a course of lessons, a words deck, and — depending on your plan — a group of fellow learners, a weekly live hour, and a person who listens to your recordings and answers. Plans and prices are on our website; nothing is bought inside the app.
Your account
One account per person, your real name and a working phone number. Keep your sign-in email or social account safe; what happens under your account is yours.
Your recordings
You own what you record. You give us permission to store it and to let the person answering you hear it. We do not use it for anything else.
Our content
The lessons, recordings, texts and exercises are ours. Use them to learn; do not copy, resell or redistribute them.
Being decent
The groups and the live hour are real people learning a language badly, on purpose. Be kind. We remove anyone who is not.
Payment and cancelling
Membership is paid monthly on the website. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid month. We may pause or end an account that breaks these terms, with a refund of the unused part of the month.
No guarantees
We will do our best to answer within a day. We do not promise fluency by a date; that part is yours.
